As part of WAMA’s ongoing efforts to strengthen staff capacity, a specialized in-house training on Artificial Intelligence for Policy Studies was launched today at the Agency’s headquarters. The workshop is facilitated by Mr. Francis Abude, Economist and Data Scientist, and was opened by the Director General, Hon. Boima S. Kamara.
The first session served as an introduction, during which Mr. Abude presented a situational overview using Ghana as a case study. He also introduced key technical concepts such as Python and Anaconda, setting the stage for the rest of the training.
The workshop will continue until Friday, with the remaining sessions focused on hands-on practical exercises and real-world case studies, aimed at enhancing participants’ analytical and technical skills in policy development.
