The West African Monetary Agency (WAMA), under the directive of the Committee of Governors of Central Banks of ECOWAS Member States, is implementing the Establishment of the ECOWAS Deposit Guarantee Scheme (DGS), a key activity under the revised roadmap for the launch of the single currency.
The initiative seeks to enhance depositor confidence, strengthen financial stability, and promote economic growth by harmonizing the frameworks governing Deposit Guarantee Schemes across ECOWAS Member States.
In pursuit of this objective, WAMA intends to engage the services of an experienced facilitator/consultant to lead the effective implementation of the project.
